Gas or Electric Furnace

  • Check and adjust controls as needed.
  • Clean burners, pilot, and/or sensor.
  • Adjust combustion for optimum fuel efficiency.
  • Lubricate as needed.
  • Test for combustion leaks.
  • Test safety shut off response.
  • Check blower belt wear, tension, alignment, and dirt build up.
  • Check flue for satisfactory operation.
  • Replace first air filter, included. Additional sizes replaced as necessary for an additional cost.
  • Check thermostat operation.
  • Check all wiring for loose connections and condition of insulation.
  • Check supply voltage and amperage draw.

Air Condition or Heat Pump

  • Clean condenser coil.
  • Check electrical connections for tightness.
  • Check all wiring for loose connections and condition of insulation.
  • Check blower belt wear, tension, alignment, and dirt build up.
  • Check expansion valve and coil temperatures.
  • Check refrigerant level, add Freon at an additional cost.
  • Check condensate drain.
  • Check and log compressor and fan amperage draw and voltage.
  • Lubricate as needed.
  • Replace first air filter, included. Additional sizes replaced as necessary for an additional cost.

IF YOUR HEATING OR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FAILS TO OPERATE:

  • Be sure the thermostat is set on "Heat" or "Cool" as needed and set properly. 
  • Check all switches, fuses, and circuit breakers to be sure there is electricity in the unit.
  • Check filters to make sure they are not clogged.
  • Be sure the gas is on.

Terms of Contract

We agree to:

  1. Inspect the equipment on a scheduled basis as shown, and during each inspection perform the paplicable services per abover checklist.
  2. Instruct you in the operation of the equipment.
  3. Give our service contract holders preference over other service activity normally undertaken by us.
  4. Guarantee our workmanship for 1 year from the date of  repair.

You agree to:

  1. Operate the equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
  2. Promplty notify us of any unusual operating conditions of the equpiment.
  3. Permit only our service personnel and/or service organization authorized by us to work on the above listed equipment.
  4. Pay for contract before service is performed. Service will not be rendered if account is past due.

GENERAL:

  • Repair and replace parts necessary to correct defects discovered by this maintenance contract will be at an additional charge.
  • The services outlined in this agreement will be performed during normal working hours as agreed upon depending on weather and work load.
  • The terms of this agreement shall be upheld unless cancelled by either party with a 30 day written notice.
  • Repair service requested by customer will be provided during normal working hours at current rates or labor and materials.
  • During the term of the agreement we will take all responsible precautions to avoid injury to persons and damage to property while on the premises, but we will not be responsible for any special or consequential damages.
  • We will not be liable for losses or defects arising out of vandalism, fire, flood, wind, war, riots, or acts of God. In such cases, the customer will be charged for the parts and labor involved at the then current price for such repairs. No such parts or labor shall be furnished without prior authorization from the customer.
  • Given the nature of the work or sevices, Blue Horizon Air Conditioning and Heating is in no way liable for the treatment or removal of such mold, and in no way warrants or represents that it is licensed or equipped to do so.
